Finca El Gallinero, in the middle of sunny Spain. Easy to get to from Madrid, but well away from the crowds, we are in Requijada, a tiny village at the foot of the Sierra de Guadarrrama mountains, in the province of Segovia.

We are a welcoming family home, experimenting in organic living and specialising in nature study and natural horsemanship. It has always been our vision to live in a sustainable environment enabling us to be self sufficient. We take pride in our fresh green garden, our organically reared poultry and our well groomed horses.

We at Finca El Gallinero would like to give you the opportunity for a rich, learning experience in the form of a short horse riding weekend, or a longer adventure holiday in Spain; a chance to try out Spanish country life by visiting our beautiful peaceful home, to learn about the joys of living organically and also to get active with our friendly stable of horses.

 You can stay in one of the small, cosy hotels in or very near our village, Requijada, and spend your days with us, horse riding and picking up riding tips,  discovering the countryside, and experiencing our brand of modern rural life.
